Mega Strong Fitness MEGA STRONG- MAKING EXERCISE GREAT AGAIN! Virtual group fitness classes that can be done from the comfort of your home with some dumbbells!

Just a husband & wife trying to lead a crew of Uncommon Badasses 💪🏻 My workouts are 50 minute circuit style, strength training classes on Monday’s through Friday’s from 5:30 am CST to 6:20 am. My husband Dirk does a 30 minute, strength training class at 6:30 am CST. If you pay for the live workouts, you get the option to do either the 5:30 am or 6:30 am workouts daily! For the 5:30 am class on Monday’s we do upper body/core, Tuesday’s are total body, Wednesday’s are lower body/cardio, Thursday’s are total body with a HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) emphasis and Friday’s are upper body, cardio, & core. We also do a bonus total body day almost every Saturday. For Dirk’s 6:30 am class on Monday’s he does Lower Body, Tuesdays are Back & Biceps, Wednesdays are Triceps & Chest, Thursdays are Shoulders & Abs and Fridays are Lower Body. These classes are designed to burn fat and build muscle from the comfort of your home!
ďż˝ Our classes are for any fitness level and for both males and females. We show you the advanced version of the exercise and then how to modify it for beginners. We have all age levels in my class, from 16 year olds through 65 year olds. We make sure that every class is new and different so we never get bored.
ďż˝ The Zoom app can be downloaded on your laptop, tablet or phone and is super easy to navigate! We send out invoices on the 25th of the month and expect payment before the 4th. If you want to cancel your subscription, we MUST be notified by the 25th of the month. NO EXCEPTIONS.
ďż˝ All you need for equipment is two sets of dumbbells (heavy and light). A set of resistance bands (I have cheap ones I recommend off of amazon) and a sturdy, flat chair to step up on. A small step ladder will also work.
The LIVE classes are $60 per month, which comes out to be about $2.30 per class and anytime you miss a live class, the recordings of both Dirk and I’s workouts will also be emailed to you daily. There is also the option to purchase just the EMAIL VERSION of the classes for $40 per month. With the email version you will receive a full 50 minute recording of my 5:30 am class via email by 6:45 am CST every morning AND a recording of Dirk’s class via email by 7:15 am every morning. You have 48 hours to get the workout done before the link will no longer work.
ďż˝ Dirk and I are NASM certified Virtual Fitness Specialists and these classes are MUCH less expensive than personal training, our online competitors, or purchasing a gym membership where there is nobody there to guide you. Our online competitors charge anywhere from $80 per month all the way up to over $220 per month. You can sign up at anytime during the month and we will just pro-rate the price. There are no refunds once you pay for a month of workouts.
If you would like to sign up, please message us with whether you would like to do the live or email version and an email we can send an invoice to. Once you pay, we will send you a welcome video, two clean eating videos, a supplement video and today’s workouts!

For me, fitness is not about shrinking. It’s not about being smaller. It’s not about how thin or how ripped I can be. Fitness is about being my healthiest and my best for my family. Fitness is about showing my children what strong can look like at any age. Fitness is about working every day to become better than the day before.

Right now, strength looks a lot different for me at almost 32 weeks pregnant…. but damn I still feel so strong and so proud of myself.

“Hey Megan! I know I have told you thank you a few times but seriously, THANK YOU!! If you would have asked me a year ago if this is what my life would look like now, I would have never believed you. The physical changes are quite obvious, losing weight, body recomposition, better skin quality, running again!! but it’s the stuff people don’t see that I am most thankful for. My faith is growing because you and your program pushed me to be in my Bible more, my mental health is so much more improved, and my overall mood is just better. I finally decided a year ago October that it is okay for me to make time for me. I am a better wife, mom, and friend because I have finally put myself first.

I honestly wish I would have joined the program sooner.

I went to find a comparison picture from boating last summer and I couldn’t find one. I know I was feeling pretty low about my body and not wanting many photos, but I only took selfies with the kids and my spouse. So enjoy the amazing picture from Labor Day weekend 2026 (right) and the awful angled picture August 2024 (left).

So please please please take this transformation as an ego boost! From someone who hated lifting weights in high school, to now where I am having FOMO because I am missing days as a result of needing to run for my upcoming 10k, you are doing something right.”

Two things I will NOT compromise on during my 3rd pregnancy 👇

-My workouts. I have worked out up until the day I delivered with my previous two pregnancies and will continue to with this one as well (with my doctor’s approval of course). I have had easy, fast deliveries and quick recoveries because of how hard I worked out during both previous pregnancies. Being pregnant does not make me fragile. Yes I did struggled with extreme nausea and fatigue the first 12 weeks like everyone else and had to force myself to workout most days, but I am so glad I did. I have done my Mega Strong workouts 6 days a week without compromise since I found out I was pregnant.

-My nutrition. Yes I have cravings just like everyone else. Yes I had some cheat meals and snacks before the start of our 60 day challenge we started 18 days ago, but I will not fall for the “you need to eat for two” or “you need to fatten that baby up” rhetoric that society constantly tells pregnant women. You actually only need an extra 300-400 calories a day between your second and third trimesters. That is NOT a lot of extra calories. Let’s stop normalizing eating like crap and extreme over eating while pregnant. My baby needs nutrient dense foods just like I do to grow and thrive.

I will also not be told that my supplements like protein powder and greens powder are not healthy for my baby by someone who constantly goes through fast food drive throughs getting pop and fried food and who doesn’t read ingredients labels. (Yes that has actually happened numerous times 🙄)

Over 31 weeks pregnant now and still doing burpees and lifting heavy and plan to be doing that up until I deliver!

11 Steps to a Healthy Lifestyle

It’s a common myth that getting in shape is only about eating healthy and exercising. In reality, creating a healthy lifestyle and maintaining it isn’t about just those two things. It’s also about being able to keep a positive attitude, strong mental health and having a positive self-image. Although there is a ton of advice out there on how to achieve a healthy lifestyle, here are some key factors we focus on at Mega Strong Fitness.

1. Drink more water. Most of us don’t drink enough water every day, but it is essential for our bodies to work properly. Water is absolutely necessary for carrying out our bodily functions, removing waste, and transporting nutrients and oxygen throughout our bodies. Since water is expelled every day through many bodily functions and during exercise, we need to replenish the amount of water in our bodies constantly. The amount of water we need depends on a variety of factors, but generally an average adult needs three liters a day. We recommend 3 liters to a gallon if you are working out regularly. If you tend to get headaches or feel run down after a tough workout, you should also highly consider adding some electrolytes into your morning and evening routine!

2. Get enough sleep. When you don’t sleep, You tend to eat more. Usually only junk food to try to compensate for your lack of energy. Shoot for at least 7 hours of sleep each night. Do we understand that this is difficult especially with young children? Of course we do, but that doesn’t mean you can’t try to go to bed earlier at night and do your best to get more sleep.

3. Exercise. Not just a few times a week, but every day. By moving your body in some way for 30-45 minutes a day, you will lower your risk of disease, create higher bone density and increase your life span. Strength training is especially important to lower body fat and increase muscle mass, which is key to living an active and healthy lifestyle! We know a program that can help you with this 😘

4. Eat more lean meat, fruits, and vegetables. Every cell in the human body contains protein. The basic structure of protein is a chain of amino acids. You need protein in your diet to help your body repair cells and to make new ones. Protein is also important for growth and development in children, teens, and pregnant women. All fruits and vegetables carry vitamins and minerals, components essential to your health. It’s suggested that we consume 5 servings of fruits and vegetables per day to maintain health.

5. Cut down on processed foods. Processed foods are simply not good for you. Most nutritional value is lost in the making of processed foods and the added preservatives are bad for our health. These foods contain a high amount of salt, which leads to high blood pressure and heart disease. In general, the more ingredients on the label, the more processed the item.

6. Avoid negative people in your life. A positive mentality is key for a healthy life. You don’t need negativity in your life. If you feel that a person or friend is negative, try your best to limit your time around them. The same goes for what you read and watch on tv.

7. Avoid negativity within yourself. You don’t need negativity from yourself, either. Let go of all negative thoughts within yourself. Overeating tends to happen when one feels unhappy, so by staying in a positive state of mind, you cut out an unhealthy dependence on food to be happy. Exercise and positive quotes each day can also help with a positive self image, which is why we do daily quotes here at Mega Strong.

8. Avoid trigger foods. These are foods you can’t put down after one bite. Everyone’s trigger foods are different, but typically they consist of candy bars, chocolate, chips, cookies, or anything with high levels of refined sugar, salt, fat or flour. If you can’t resist eating it, don’t put it in your house or put yourself around it.

9. Take your time eating. Your brain, not your stomach, is the organ responsible for feelings of hunger and fullness. If you take your time during meals and eat more slowly, you allow your brain adequate time to send the “full” message to your stomach and allow your food to be fully ingested. Don’t rely on a clean plate to tell you when it’s time to stop eating.

10. Prepare your meals. When you prepare meals yourself, you control exactly what goes in to them. This makes it easier for you to make the right healthy choices for your body. This also saves you an insane amount of money when you avoid eating out.

11. Have healthy snacks on hand. Eating small meals throughout the day is good for your metabolism, but eating the right things is what matters most. When turning to snacks during your day, look for things like fruit, salad, cottage cheese, a handful of nuts, jerky, cheese, veggies, etc. These are nutritional and won’t give you a sugar crash.

We try to teach our clients how to lead a healthy, balanced, well rounded lifestyle and to become their best both mentally and physically. Message us today to get signed up!
