This week’s goes out to Coach Drew Hahn!

Drew, a long-time ETS Performance Coach, recently found out he is cancer free, after a 5-month battle. We are extremely proud of Drew for the strength he displayed, and we are glad he can now begin the road to recovery.

Who should supplement with Creatine?

Pretty much EVERYONE 💪

Along with increasing Strength & Power output, creatine helps aid in recovery, reduces inflammation, and also helps with cognitive function. Creatine also plays a key role in ATP production, and helps increase work capacity.

Is Creatine safe?

Yes, Creatine is one of the most widely studied supplements on the planet. It is safe, beneficial, and effective for young athletes all the way up to the elderly population‼️



✔️From a performance & body composition standpoint, Protein is the most important macro nutrient.

✔️Athletes should lean towards .8 to 1 gram of protein per LB of bodyweight to support lean body mass.

✔️Lack of protein will put the muscles in a catabolic state where they break down instead of grow.


1) Download any nutrition app like MyFitnessPal, Lose it, or Fooducate.

2) Track your intake for 3 consecutive days

3) Take a snap shot of your daily totals for each of those 3 days, and email to [email protected]

4) All of those who do this before Wednesday, March 6th will be entered into a drawing for some ETS UNRL gear!🔥

Many youth athletes and strength coaches focus their energy on a singular type of training.

Powerlifting and/or hypertrophy can help with certain things, but not everything.

How Hard Should My Workouts Be?

This graphic explains the continuum that exists between workout intensity, repeatability, and recovery. Far too often we see athletes on the ends of the spectrum.

Some don’t increase volume over time, causing strength and speed to plateau.

Some workout too hard, too often, and don’t give their body enough time to recover between hard sessions. While some feel that harder workouts are always better, that is not necessarily the case.
