Eric was many things–a leader, a dreamer, a mentor, and a very dear friend. He also never missed an opportunity for a good dad joke. In fact, he often referred to JJ’s Wine, Spirits & Ci**rs as “our office”, which feels especially fitting today.

A Celebration of Eric’s Life will be held:

We invite all friends, supporters, and members of our City family to join us. If you are able, please bring a favorite photo of Eric and a letter sharing what he or City means to you. These memories and stories will become a gift to his family on the difficult days ahead, when they miss his laugh, his wisdom, and his unwavering optimism and belief in people.

In lieu of flowers, Eric’s family has requested that donations be made to the Sioux Falls City FC Foundation. The Foundation continues the work that mattered so much to him–helping women pursue their soccer dreams, whether as players, coaches, referees, or leaders in the game.
