Vintage Lamps.........change the look of your room with just a minor adjustment by buying one of these lamps.

The lamp on the left is an old coffee grinder that has been repurposed into your next reading lamp. It is missing the bottom drawer where the ground coffee would collect. HOWEVER, this is a repurposed item, so that space can be conveniently used to hold your glasses or your book. I have it tagged at only $30. Oh, and by the way, the lamp does work!

The two crystal lamps on the right are matching. You can buy one or both. They come without shades so that you can finish the look with your own tastes. They both work and I have them priced at $20 each.

I will be adding more as time goes on, so please keep checking back. Remember, Booth #27 near the back of the store!

UNCUT SHEETS OF BASEBALL AND FOOTBALL CARDS! The football sheet pictured is a 1989 High Pro Series on one side with a vintage Washington Redskins salesman's sample print of six players on the other (not picutred). Asking $25 for the two football collectibles and someone is calling me crazy for pricing them that low! The uncut baseball sheet is 1993 Topp's with some HOFer's on it! That sheet is priced at $35 and I have three others available if you are interested. Look for the signs that draw you into Booth #27!

Hey Twins Fans! Take a look at these. Two sets of Phantom Minnesota Twins World Series tickets. These are blocks of tickets that were printed up in advance of playoffs in anticipation that the Twins would make a run to the World Series.

The first set is from 1984 and includes ALCS and World Series tickets. The Twins finished 2nd in their division (81-81) and never made the playoffs. The Detroit Tigers actually beat the San Diego Padres 4 games to 1 for the title. 1984 also marks the year that Calvin Griffith sold the franchise to Carl Pohlad.

The second set is from 2010 and includes a block of three World Series tickets. 2010 found the Twins beginning their year in the new outdoor Target Field. The Twins won their division but were swept by the Yankees in the ALDS. The San Francisco Giants beat the Texas Rangers 4 games to 1 to win the World Series.

Also please check on my other sports memorabilia such as 1950's Notre Dame football tickets, 1963 MLB All-Star game ticket, 1950 Chicago White Sox game score card, Winston Cup patches, 1910 T-206 To***co baseball card, and more! Booth #27 near the back of the store!

Sioux Falls History.......Did you know that Sioux Falls was the site of a WW II Army Air Corps Radio Training Base? It was located at the present day Joe Foss Field and extended all the way South to 6th Street by Covell Lake. On 8 Dec 1944, two T-18 Bombers clipped each other over the airfield with one of them crashing in the Industrial Park area just South of the current Air Guard. Nine soldiers in the plane and in barracks were killed. The other bomber eventually crashed by Renner, with all of them parachuting to safety. I currently have five items from the Army Air Corps era in Sioux Falls. One is a Song Book printed for recreation at the Field (green book in picture). Another is a soldier's guide to Sioux Falls (tan book in picture), which is very detailed with maps and community information. It is in mint condition. I also have an Army Air Technical Training School Pennant, as well as two silk pillow cases screen printed with the Air Field name and location. These are great pieces from our local history and a must have for any collector. Stop on out and check on the 50+ WW I & II items that have in stock. Booth #27, toward the back of the store, across from the restrooms.

Here is a fun item for you. Tintype photos........their popularity ran from the 1860's - 1890's. And all these date back to that time frame! Tintypes were actually a direct positive image burned onto a thin sheet of iron, not tin as their name suggests. A quick lacquer was placed over the image and they were ready for the customer in a matter of minutes. The Civil War version of the Polaroid Instamatic! Some are in great shape and others, well not so much. They range in price from $3-15 depending on size and condition. Where else can you get a 140 year old tintype picture for $3?
