Among his many accomplishments, the 6-foot-3 guard from Pine Ridge School set the single-game state scoring record for points in a game at 73 this season, breaking a mark that had stood since 1952. He finished his career with 2,689 points - sixth all-time in South Dakota! Richard III has signed to play for South Dakota Men's Basketball.

He's signed to play hoops at Augustana Men's Basketball.

A power forward, Ellwein led Huron to its first Class AA state title since 2004, set the program’s career scoring record, and has signed to play for Jackrabbit Men's Basketball.

The fifth and final nominee for the SD All-Star girls basketball player of the year: Addison Neuendorf of Hamlin.

A five-year starter, the 5-foot-5 senior guard averaged double figures scoring in each of the last four seasons and helped the Chargers to one Class A state title.

She'll play college basketball at Northern State University Women's Basketball.

Alyvia Padgett is a two-time nominee for SD All-Star player of the year. The 5-foot-8 guard scored 40 points for Brandon Valley High School Girls Basketball in the season opener and didn't look back. She set the school record for career points, surpassing 1,500, and has signed with Division II power Minnesota State University Women's Basketball. She helped the Lynx reach the Class AA state title game three years in a row.
