Unfortunately we are going to have to cancel the the Fresh Hop 5k/10k due to staffing issues. We hope to bring it back next year!

Thank you all for coming out to enjoy a beautiful morning running around the rural roads north of Sisters. Save the last weekend in September for the 3rd Sisters Fresh Hop Festival Half Marathon & 5k, and Fresh Hop Festival.

Online registration ends tonight at 11:59 p.m., then in-person registration will take place at packet pickup:
Friday, 4-6 p.m. at Three Creeks Brewing, 721 S Desperado, Sisters
Saturday, 6:45-7:45 a.m. at Three Creeks Production Facility, 265 Barclay, Sisters

In-person registration will be $55 for the 1/2 marathon and $35 for the 5k; cash or check only for in-person registration (no cards).

In case you haven't yet heard, the State of Oregon issued a statewide mask requirement for outdoor settings - including large outdoor events - where attendees come in close proximity to other participants and cannot distance themselves.

Although the Hop Fest 1/2 & 5k is not considered large, we will be asking participants to wear masks when they are not running in the race, i.e., at the start line and finish area, and also at packet pickup.

Of course, we will make more adjustments and decisions over the next month, as necessary. Thank you for your support and understanding.

Today is the last day for early registration for this year's event. At only $49 for the 1/2 marathon, it's easily one of the best deals around for the distance, and the 5k is $30.

Registration is open for this year's Sisters Hop Fest 1/2 and 5k! Assuming the Fresh Hop Fest is a go this year: 1/2 marathon or 5k in the morning, finish at a brewery and have a beer, go back to your lodging for a nap and shower, then back to the brewery for the Fresh Hop Festival. That's pretty much the perfect Sisters day.

And registration is less than 50 bucks!

Great news - I just got the word from Three Creeks Brewing Company that they're on-board for hosting the Hop Fest Half again. WOOHOO!

Pending permit approval, race day will be Saturday, September 25, 2021. And hopefully the Sisters Fresh Hop Festival will be able to happen again on that day, too.
