Baby boy finally decided he likes his face pets, he couldn’t get enough! Clearly 😂

Here he is! Bay tovero c**t off the Warm Springs Reservation.

This sweet boy is here for the summer for some groceries and training, and will be available tentatively mid-August 💙

My mom and I decided we are at our max for horses, and did not bring a trailer to the annual Warm Springs auction yesterday. Our friends (Brooklyn Lugo) didn’t bring a trailer either. Of course one thing led to another, and before we knew it Melissa Green and Brooklyn were headed back to Sisters to get a trailer to pick up this boy and his adorable brother. There’s always room for one more! 🤷🏼‍♀️

So far, he is settling in great. Little guy had it tough on the range and is very skinny. We are giving him only grass hay so we don’t overload his system. Poor guy seems in a bit of shock and is very lethargic. Tonight he perked up a little bit and we were able to get some touches in his first session! We will take it very slow with him, he seems a bit fragile at the moment and his #1 goal until further notice is to get some calories back in him!

Guess what we impulsively (but not unpredictably — according to my fiancé) did yesterday!

Today I finally got around to measuring baby Walker and grabbing a photo of his very handsome little b***y.

WB Walker (named for “Old Soul Radio Show I discovered) actually measures 14.0hh instead of 13.3hh, and string tested to 16.0hh 😍

And the more we groom him, the more Appaloosa spots show up!

From my limited research, he looks like a snowflake to me. But I am by no means an expert and have no experience with Appaloosa coat colors! Does anyone else have any input? 

No longer just a number… tag 8909 is now… “WB Walker” 😆

Named (you guessed it) but my dad. I have no idea who or what WB Walker is but he insisted so… here he is!!

This guy must’ve been born broke. He does everything we ask every single time. He leads, grooms, loves snuggles and kisses, picks up all four feet, and is halter and drag role less. He is a true old soul!

If it weren’t for the freeze brand on his neck or those little baby teeth, I’d say he was a retired 25year old gelding.

Baby boy is here! Tag #8909 in the Platinum In-Hand Division. This little guy is just over a year old and BIG. He has to be at least 13.3/14.0hh and has legs for days! He’s an Appaloosa to boot, he’s got all sorts of little snowflake spots popping up everywhere. We can’t wait to get him shed out and muscled up!

He’s already super curious and is totally going to be in your pocket. He is hardly afraid of people! Lots of first touches, and hopefully his tag will be off in by the weekend.

Reminder, this is my dad’s yearling! But he doesn’t have Facebook so I will be posting and taking pictures for him.

The Siler Family chose not 1, not 2, but 3 mustangs to come home for gentling and training April 24th!

Lucy’s Mustang 2024 T&OM Challenge (Trainer of TK) and Ava’s Oregon Mustang (original trainer of Hazel) are both in the Adult Riding division, and my wonderful father is going to be showing a yearling that my mom and I will teach him how to train in the Platinum Division!

My sisters Lucy and Ava are away at school until the second week of May, so my mom and I will be starting the gentling process for them 🥳

All updates on the yearling will be posted on my page 🤍 This will actually be the first mustang yearling that I have gentled and shown.

All horses will be available at auction Labor Day Weekend!

Dolly girl got her first sit!

Not much prep-work required for this one, she’s quiet as can be. She is approaching three this spring and is ready to start conditioning to being lightly started under saddle 💕
