Winter Carnival is a little different this year, but we always know how to party at Hoodoo! And the fun is not done... we still have live music, fire dancers, the torchlight decent and our signature firework extravaganza!
Thanks to our sponsors, and for helping us celebrate with all of you.

The weather has been very frustrating this year. We have had a great season so far with what little snow we have received. But, as you can see from the webcams, we don't have enough snow left to even try to be open. We are having a great Winter Carnival today (and thanks for everyone who is here celebrating with us!), but sadly, we will be closed onward until it snows A LOT more.
The short term forecast is for warm rain, but hopefully it will turn around soon. Thanks for a great year so far *in spite* of the challenges... and hopefully we will see you soon in the snow!

The rain has not been nice at all. The little snow we got yesterday has sadly been melted and we are now dealing with ponds again. We will do our best to have Winter Carnival, but will have to do Winter Carnival âLiteâ this year. Due to the lack of snow, there will be no Dummy Downhill and no snow sculptures. We will still have face painting, games, live music and fireworks. We are looking forward to the fun! Thanks for your support and we will see you on the slopes!

Hoodoo will be open Thursday-Sunday this week. We will be spending Tuesday and Wednesday harvesting and hauling snow to strategic locations so we can be open this Saturday for our biggest party of the year, Winter Carnival, presented by our friends at CoEnergy Propane and Crux Fermentation Project.
We love celebrating our favorite season and we will do everything in our power to stay open and have a great carnival, but we may not be able to do things that require surplus snow like the Dummy Downhill and the many snow sculptures we all love. We will do our best to have a couple snow sculptures and will let everyone know by Thursday night if we can build a Dummy Downhill course. We will still have games, live music, and fireworks. Stay tuned for more info and we will see you on the slopes!

The rain hasn't been nice to us again, so Hoodoo will be closed Wednesday this week... but open Thursday - Sunday! We will get back to our normal operating schedule when the snow cooperates. This has been a tough year for snow, but we are thankful for the snow we have.
We'll honor our Onesie Wednesday $30 deal both Thursday and Friday this week. See you on the slopes!
