The Skiatook Roundup Club was organized in 1948 and became incorporated on March 29, 1971. Little does anyone know that Skiatook RUC got its start at a little arena to the south of where it stands today off of Highway 11 where “Hunt Trailer Park” is today. In the mid-1960’s the Skiatook Roundup Club moved to where it is located today with the help of a man name A.T. Ferree built the arena for the club, and later donated the land and arena to the club to insure that Rodeo would live on in Skiatook, OK. The Club puts on numerous event throughout the year which consist of two open rodeos, twelve playdays and twenty-four barrel races. The officers for the 2022 season are President DJ Richardson, Vice President Brittany Earl, Secretary Linda Shepherd, Treasurer Debbie Stumpf, Arena Director Alan Stumpf, and Playday Director Kelsi Teel. Board Members include Charlotta Huddleston, Michelle Avalos, Justin Teel, Angela Henson, Johnna Kelley, Matt Earl and Dawn Brown. We invite the community to join us at all our events!
