Louisiana Center of Gaming is a venue for you to come relax and watch tournaments OR (the more exciting option) make some money by playing and winning! We are a new organization trying to make competitive gaming more accessible to those who may be unable to attend higher level tournaments such as MLG. Trust me, we completely understand the problems you face, and we're going to address that! Having
to pay fees for: Travel, housing, food, and a $200+ team pass can get rather pricy, and it can be rather aversive to high school or college gamers. This is where we step in, and we will make sure to provide a great gaming experience! WHAT GAMES TO EXPECT: We will mainly be a FPS tournament host, but we are trying to bring other genres to the table over time. (Brand new organization; give us time!!) Games that will be seen are Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Halo 4, and Gears of War 3. For now, 1v1 tournaments are all that can be held due to limited funding, but that will expand in due time to 2v2 and 4v4 tournaments with larger payouts. WHAT MONEY CAN BE MADE: Naturally, payouts will ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS depend on the number of attendees. The more YOU help US spread the word and the more friends you bring to play, the more $$$$$ you can make! Cost of entry is still up in the air, but the payout will be more than worth your time. Those numbers can rise and fall with higher/lower numbers of attendees. Expect certain specials during the later events such as raffles, and you can certainly expect awesome grand opening payouts for the first few tournaments! Just spread the word, and you could win plenty money simply by playing and winning a tournament of your favorite game. EASY AS THAT!
