✨ SENIOR GRADUATE : AUBREY SEGUIN ✨
My favorite memory would have to be my very first day at CDA. I remember being so nervous walking into the comp ballet class as the new “rec”girl. But, right when I walked in, one of the girls ran and gave me a hug, and everyone was so welcoming. Right then and there, I knew I was at the right place.
My biggest advice to the younger dancers: Your hard work never goes unnoticed, so always show up, try your hardest and most of all enjoy yourself because one day it will all just be a memory!
My biggest inspiration would have to be Ms. Gabby. Before coming to CDA, I thought I never wanted to dance again. But after joining, that all changed. Ms. Gabby brought back the love and passion I had for dance with her unwavering encouragement, support, and love for her dancers. Without Ms. Gabby, I definitely would not be the dancer I am today, and I am forever grateful for her time, love, dedication, and for always believing in me.
This fall, I will attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where I will major in Kinesiology. I will then further pursue my education to become a pediatric physical or occupational therapist.

✨ SENIOR SPOTLIGHT : PRESLIE LEBLANC ✨
Some of my favorite memories from being a dancer at CDA were the competitions. Being able to get out on stage with routines that we worked long and hard on along with other teammates is the best feeling in the world. It also allowed me to create bonds and even friendships with many people!
If I could give any piece advice to anyone, I would say to stay confident in yourself even if something is difficult to you. It may have took me a while to realize this, but now that I can find confidence in my dancing, I can have more fun doing what I love rather than worry about being perfect while doing it!
It is my 11th year of dance, which means I started later than one normally would. I felt discouraged in myself to the point where I didn’t know if I wanted to continue to dance.
I moved to CDA 4 years ago, which meant I was also moving to high school. It was all overwhelming, but Ms. Gabby was welcoming and encouraging towards us. Which leads me to my biggest inspiration, Gabby Dowling. She helped me throughout my first year dancing with her to get better at everything I do and to find my confidence. She was the one to help me find a love for dancing again, an even stronger one. I listen and take all of her words to heart, which had made me a better dancer and person today.
Now as I move on in life, I will be attending Mississippi State University and majoring in Biology to hopefully someday figure out what I want to do in the medical field.
Thank you CDA and Ms.Gabby for being the best dance family ever! 🫶

✨ SENIOR SPOTLIGHT : JAIRIA GRIFFIN ✨
Favorite memory at CDA:
My favorite memory at CDA was being able to meet new people and share so many laughs throughout my time there. Even though I was only there for two years and tended to keep to myself, I still enjoyed the positive environment and the memories created with the people around me.
Piece of advice to a younger dancer:
Always believe in yourself and trust your growth. Everyone improves at their own pace, so it is important not to compare yourself to others. Stay dedicated, work hard, and remember to enjoy dancing because your passion is what makes you stand out.
Biggest inspiration in dance:
My biggest inspiration in dance is my mom. She has always supported and encouraged me to keep pushing myself and follow my goals. Her strength and belief in me motivate me to continue growing as both a dancer and a person.
Plans for the future / college:
After graduation, I plan to attend Kennesaw State University and major in modern languages. After college, I hope to pursue a career as a professional dancer abroad while continuing to explore different cultures and opportunities through both dance and language.

💖 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT : BAILI CANNON 💖
My favorite memory at CDA will always be when my friends and I would go to Dollar General during our small breaks and buy so much food. I also really loved assisting Mrs. Lexi this year with the micro minis. They are such a joy to be around, and they’re like my little sisters. I’m going to miss them so much next year!!🩷🩷
If I could give a piece of advice to younger dancers it would be: Being a great dancer isn’t just about talent, but it’s about dedication. Don’t compare your journey to everyone else’s, because everyone grows at a different pace. Those long Saturdays you always dread will soon become a faint memory you can’t get back, so always live in the moment and be appreciative. Stay coachable, confident, and appreciate every moment with your team, because those memories go by faster than you think.
I wouldn’t be the person I am today without my mom by my side since the very beginning, and I couldn’t be more grateful. She has been my biggest inspiration my entire life. She has taught me to stay humble and strong through it all and to never give up. Through every early morning and long convention weekend, she has always been there for me over the past 17 years. She has taught me life’s greatest lessons and helped shape the person I am today. I love you, and thank you for being the best.🫶
I plan to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to pursue nursing and then continue my education to become a CRNA. In college, I hope to keep dance as an important part of my life by taking the classes they offer there.
I would like to thank CDA for being my home for the past 7 years, and I’m forever grateful for all the bonds I’ve created there with all the girls. Finally, thank you, Ms. Gabby, for always pushing me and helping me grow my confidence. I’m going to miss everyone so much, and I love y’all.♥️
