Hey Guys,

My name is Coach D, and I'm the head coach of the newly formed
East St. Tammany Bandits 13u Baseball team

Just to let you know a little bit about myself,
I'm 57 years old, and have been coaching baseball for the past 4 years. I also used to Asst. My coach right out of HS for a couple of years...

The main reason why I have started this team with the help of my daughter and son-in-law, is because when my grandson asked to play Travel ball, we started looking into different organizations and found out that it is RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE, as in THOUSANDS and yes I said THOUSANDS of dollars for the kids to play for other organizations.... I have also heard to many horror stories of parents paying these crazy prices just so their kids can sit the bench and watch while not really learning anything from coaches who collect a payday from these organizations....

My main goal is to give EVERYONE a chance to learn and play, without having to take out a second mortgage....

My goal is to use fundraisers as a way to bring in money for the cost of tournaments, and team registrations and equipment... I, nor will anyone else associated with this organization take 1 penny, every dollar collected goes back into the team....

Every kids deserves the chance to play without their parents having to worry about cost....

Also our goal is to get every kid prepared as well as we could to play school ball if they choose....

So, If you want to give your son a chance to play, have fun, learn a few things and keep the cost as low as possible, we would love for you to come try out for our team...
