THIS JUST IN!! THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR HOOP HEROES AT MORAINE ELEMENTARY HAS BEEN EXTENDED! 🤩
That's right, if you register your Hoop Heroes by October 12th, they will gain an awesome Moraine Elementary Hoop Heroes T-shirt! As a reminder, REGISTRATION AND PAYMENTS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED BY THE SCHOOL! We apologize for our families that are out of the way from the Parks office, our website is experiencing major technical difficulties and we are not able to take online registrations currently... but do not let that stop you! Here's how you can register;
1. Call us! We would love to answer the phone to take your registration! Call us at 724-794-8180 M-F 8:00am-4:00pm. Here we will help fill out a registration form and take a card payment over the phone. OR fill out your form as we wait for your cash or check payment in the mail.
2. Come on by! We enjoy seeing the faces of the community at the park office. Again, stop by M-F 8:00am-4:00pm with your paperwork and payment. If you forget your papers, do not worry! We have plenty in the Park Office at 320 N. Main Street, Slippery Rock, PA 16057. If you can only make it when we are closed, we have a safe, locked, drop box on the porch door. Feel free to use it as we check it daily!
3. Mail/Email, or fax! Email or fax us a copy of your registration paperwork. PLEASE include how your payment is coming in (card payment in the office at a later date, cash or check being mailed) so we can keep everything in check... NO PUN INTENDED!

In addition to our yearly Hoop Heroes program, we also are offering an after school OPEN GYM! This is perfect for families that cannot make it to the school in time for Lessons (4:00pm-5:00pm) and students in the program wanting extra court time with "Coaches" Maddox and Evan!
Open Gym is only available to students registered for Hoop Heroes at a one time fee of $20. These students will be expected to stay after school every Tuesday or Thursday depending on the day of their grade levels class.
Please do not let the technical difficulties cause you to hold back from registering your kiddos for Hoop Heroes at Moraine Elementary! They will learn their core basketball skills through drills, stories, games, and more with our Interns from SRU. Everyone is so excited for this program and the registration deadline is closing in!
