Footnotes School of Dance, LLC TEACHING THE LOVE OF MOVEMENT. Footnotes School of Dance is so excited to be in their 11th year of teaching dance in Smithfield, VA.

We teach ages 2-adults and have classes in every subject. Footnotes School of Dance "teaches the love of movement" to every student that attends class. Princess ballet, boys hip hop, acrobatic arts, Premier ballet technique, jazz, tap, pointe
We have had the opportuniy to perform in the Isle of WIght County Fair, Smithfield Christmas parade, and this year we will participate in the Toys for Tots and Relay for Life events in Smithfield! We believe in teaching our children to give back to their community through the art of dance.

Introducing ✨The Tap Club✨
Good music, tap shoes, exercise, and a genuinely fun way to start the weekend.

Tapped years ago? Never tapped at all? Either works. This is less about being a “dancer” and more about showing up, learning something new and having a good time doing it.

Come alone. Bring a friend. Just don’t be the one sitting at home with FOMO because you’re not officially a member of **The Tap Club** yet.

Our Discover Dance class for ages 2–3 is a warm, playful first introduction to dance full of music, movement, imagination and FUN!

No experience needed, and potty training is NOT required. đź’ś

Trained in the prestigious Russian Vaganova Method with over 20 years of teaching experience, Ms. Noha brings world-class ballet instruction to our students. Originally from Brazil, she combines technical excellence with a teaching philosophy centered on confidence, artistry, discipline, and respect for every child.
