AQHA breeder, raising horses with size, bone and most of all good minds. LR performance horses is a working ranch that backgrounds and grazes yearlings.

We do all of our cattle work horse back, therefore we need good solid horses that can do a days work. We breed and ride primarily Blue Valentine bloodlines, We have found that they have the dispostion, ability and the willingness to get the job done better than any other breed. We stand Leo Hancock Hazz and breed our mares and a few outside horses each year. He is a 15.2 1300 lb Blue Roan stud that really produces good colts with the size and willingness to please. We breed him but he also works hard on the ranch as a using horse as well. We keep several good broke geldings around most all of the time.

Our 2026 weanlings have been putting in the work! From daily handling and halter breaking to learning patience and standing tied, we’re building a solid foundation one day at a time. We couldn’t be more excited about their progress. This is a great new group of prospects !

We brought in some young horses this morning to get them ready to go to the Dennis Horse Sale in Andalusia Alabama on November 7 and literally within 10 min of them being up, this is the outcome. These horses were halter broke as weanlings have only been caught a few times since then just to be wormed and that is it.
I think it’s a testimony to the good minds of these babies. The Blue Valentine influence makes them want to be your friend and you do not have to retrain them every morning.

SOLD Stanley is a 5 year old black grade quarter horse gelding. He stands a little over 15hh and is smooth as silk.
He as nice of a young gelding as you will find anywhere. He operates on a loose rein, very smooth in his gaits, no funny stuff with this horse.

Stanley is a kid carrying, husband packing kind of horse, but he can still go do the hard things if you ask him. He gives to leg pressure, collects up, open/close gates etc… He has been around cattle but not real deep in roping and sorting, but he has logged many miles on the trail.

If you want a companion that is honest and willing , here he is.

Tiger is a Grandson of the great Blue Apache Hancock and on the bottom side out of an own daughter of Red Roan Raider.

This line of horses always impress. They are willing, athletic and pretty.

Tiger is broke under saddle. He is quiet, and he had his first foal crop this year. His babies are really nice, can provide photos upon request.

I have really debated on whether or not to sell this stud, but I have three others already. He would be an asset to any breeding program. This bloodline crosses great on cow bred horses.

Please call for more info and pictures.

CASHS LITTLE PEPTO

2016 AQHA Reg Red Roan Mare

14HH and stout

Fancy is a sweet heart and not to mention beautiful. She carries perfect cow horse confirmation and would be an asset to any barn. She has done all aspects of ranching, and is handy around cattle. She has a good handle, and a lot of cow. She knows how to move around in front of a cow. But her greatest value is in her walk, she loves a good trail ride.
If you’re looking for a companion to ride and use her she is.
Traffic does not bother her, in the water, cross the ditches, down the road etc…
She has been owned by the same family all her life. She is 100% sound and no maintenance required. If you come ride her you will like her.

Fancy is just like her dam, willing and capable. She comes from proven parents. The great Blue Valentine/ Cow blood cross, these make great horses. She’s laid-back, smart and loves to drop her head and walk around.
She is pretty with great confirmation, fancy could go in any direction. She has a good foundation, has started working cattle. Fancy operates off of a loose rein, rocking chair lope, gives to leg pressure, collects up. She should mature around 15 hands and will carry good bone and muscle.

Tigers Big Blue (Sold)

AQHA 16.HH Blue Roan Gelding

DOB 3-19-2021

Tiger was bred, raised and trained by us, and has not disappointed. From day one he has saddled up and walked off, like one should. He operates off of a loose rein, has a good handle, gives to leg pressure, collects up and is a big stopper.
Tiger has a great foundation, he could go in almost any direction. He loves to drop his head and walk, so he would make a great trail horse. Or anything in the arena, whatever you want to do with him he is willing and able.
He has been used on the ranch to rope and drag , sort and he will watch a cow and stop and turn with one.
He will do all the above in a soft snaffle or he will pack a bridal.
Tiger is that horse you will want to keep forever. He wants to be your friend, he will meet you at the gate and carry around anyone in the family.

He is guaranteed sound and safe.
