Hello from the Black Hills of South Dakota! It's dry and dusty here too, but the wheelin' and scenery are incredible. It's my first time here and I'm sure I'll be back. I'd highly recommend it to anyone willing to travel to ride.
I saw it rained around the Solon Springs area Monday afternoon/evening. I don't know how much but we'll take what we can get. Any moisture is good.
We did a little mowing on a gated section of 41N before we left. The section between Pierce and Paske where the weeds stood tall and all the swaps are dry. We'll get back at it when we get back to WI. It really helps to cut the weeds before it snows so then we don't need as much snow to start grooming. Winters coming, but there is plenty of good wheelin' left.
Reminder: Our hayride is set for Oct. 3rd. Please RSVP by Sept. 23rd so we have a lunch count and know how many trailers we'll need.
Hope to see ya out there.

TRAIL CONDITIONS:
With the overnight rain, expect puddles. It'll be dry and dusty fairly quick. Grading is being done weekly. Be sure to check Douglas County and the other club's websites before heading out. Respect the landowners that provide access to their land. Do not drive around the gates. Obey speed limits when driving on roads. Be aware of the new ATV/UTV laws that went into effect on June 1st. Ride safe. Stay on the trails or stay home.
