🚨 Protein Myths Busted! 🚨
Trying to build muscle OR lose body fat? The answer isn’t loading up on endless protein shakes! 🥤
Here’s the REAL deal:
💪 Building muscle? Aim for 0.7-1g of protein per pound of body weight.
🔥 Shedding fat? Keeping protein high helps preserve muscle, so stick to the same range!
More isn’t always better—balance is key. Focus on quality sources and let your body do the rest!

Have you spent the extra couple of bucks for "alkaline" bottled water? You may want to save your 💲💲💲💲.
"According to Adam Ramin, M.D., urologist and medical director of Urology Cancer Specialists in Los Angeles, agrees. “There is absolutely no need to tamper with this well functioning system in our bodies by drinking water that is alkaline,” he writes to SELF. Dr. Ramin explains that the kidneys are primarily responsible for maintaining proper levels of acidity in the bloodstream. And that as long as we have healthy kidneys, “the delicate balance of pH in our bloodstream is kept intact.” David Gorski, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.C.S., a cancer surgeon and researcher, professor of surgery at Wayne State University School of Medicine, and managing editor of the website Science-Based Medicine agrees, saying that when it comes to changing the pH of the blood, “it's difficult because the body's buffering mechanisms through the kidneys and lungs are very good at maintaining the blood pH within a narrow range.”
What Even Is Alkaline Water and Is It Really Better Than Regular Water?
