What a great start to the season! Two perfect soccer weekends!
Unfortunately, the weather is not looking quite as favorable for this Saturday. We’ll be watching it closely and wanted to provide a quick reminder of our Weather Protocol:
Weather Protocol – Rec Soccer
Board members will be monitoring the weather and field conditions closely.
Coaches will have the same information as everyone else, so please avoid bombarding them with questions about potential cancellations.
If games are canceled, a league-wide notification will be sent by email.
Please note: This protocol applies to Rec Soccer only.
Travel Soccer
Travel Soccer follows a different weather protocol. Travel coaches will be notified directly and will then communicate with their respective teams. A Rec Soccer cancellation does not automatically mean Travel Soccer is canceled.
Game Make-Ups for Rec only
Canceled games will be moved to the following Sunday, not the immediately following day.
Games will remain at their original scheduled times.
If the same games are canceled twice due to weather, those games will be dropped from the schedule.
Hopefully the weather cooperates and we can get all of this weekend’s games in!
