🏁 201 SPEEDWAY | JAMIE SLONE MEMORIAL 🏁

Some nights are about racing. Some nights are about remembering. And some nights manage to be both.

The Jamie Slone Memorial at 201 Speedway was one of those nights. ❤️🏁

Jamie wasn’t just a name on a memorial race. He was Natalie Mason’s dad, and Natalie is the wife and one of the hardest-working members of the crew behind the #45 of Nick Mason. Anyone who knows this racing family knows just how much family means to them — and how much work goes on behind the scenes to make a race car go around that track.

So being there to honor Jamie made the night mean a little more.

When the checkered flag finally flew, it was B.J. Branham who took the win and parked it in the Lee’s Used Cars Winner’s Circle. 🏆

Also, per Eldora as this applies also to the World 100: Once a race car enters the racing surface for an event, no person affiliated with or acting on behalf of a competitor may intentionally communicate or attempt to communicate information to the driver by any means other than communication specifically authorized by Eldora Speedway officials. This prohibition includes, but is not limited to, electronic, radio, verbal, visual or physical communication; flashlights or other lights; signs or boards; flags; hand or body signals; gloves; clothing or colors; signal sticks; positioning or movement of persons, vehicles or objects; or any prearranged signal or code.

Any attempt to circumvent the intent of this rule, regardless of the method used and regardless of whether the driver receives or acknowledges the communication, may result in disqualification and/or additional penalties at the discretion of Eldora Speedway officials.
