Somerville Little League is excited to offer Fall Little League and Fall Babe Ruth this season!

📅 Little League
• Sundays, September–mid November
• Farm (ages 6–8), Minors (ages 8–11) & Majors divisions
• Primarily at Conway Park
• A fun, less competitive season focused on building skills and getting more time on the field!

⚾ Babe Ruth
• Saturdays, September–late October
• Great option for players transitioning from Little League to Babe Ruth
• Games at Trum Field and neighboring towns
• One game per week; no practices

🌟 Tee Ball: We’d love to offer Fall Tee Ball, but we need coaches! Please reach out if you’re willing to volunteer.

Additional weekday practices, clinics, or sandlot games may also be offered depending on interest, field availability, and volunteers.

🏆⚾ DISTRICT 13 CHAMPS! ⚾🏆

What a summer for Somerville Little League!

Last week, Somerville Blue capped off an incredible Jimmy Fund tournament run with a 14–1 victory over the previously undefeated Reading Trash Pandas to capture the District 13 Jimmy Fund Little League Championship in the 11–12 division! 💙🥇

Congratulations to all of the players and coaches on a fantastic tournament and a championship to be proud of!

But the biggest win this summer goes well beyond the scoreboard. ❤️

Together, Somerville Little League teams have raised over $15k for the Jimmy Fund this summer, helping support cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

And we’re not done yet! There’s still time to donate and support Somerville’s Jimmy Fund teams. Every contribution helps make a difference.

Congratulations to the White Sox, the 2026 SLL Minor League Champions! ⚾️

This team embodied what youth baseball is all about - hard work, sportsmanship, and teammates supporting one another every step of the way! Throughout their outstanding 14-1-1 season these players showed tremendous growth and dedication while never losing sight of having fun together 🙌

A huge thank you to the amazing coaches, families, and fans whose encouragement and support helped make this season so memorable. Congratulations, White Sox!

Congratulations to the Dodgers, 2026 Somerville Little League Majors Champions!

The title-clinching game was a thriller, with the Dodgers rallying from a 12-5 deficit in the 5th inning, forcing extras, and ultimately earning a 14-13 walk-off victory in the 7th.

While the Dodgers won the best-of-three series in two games, the championship was far closer than the final result suggests. Both teams were incredibly evenly matched, and throughout the series it felt like every inning could swing the outcome. The Astros and Dodgers competed with tremendous heart and resilience, making for a memorable championship and a great showcase of Little League baseball.

Congratulations to both teams and to all the players, coaches, and families on an outstanding season!

The 2026 Tufts Baseball team is putting on a pre-season clinic for kids ages 7-13 at the newly renovated Sol Gittleman Park at Tufts University. Hosted by the Tufts players, kids will get the chance to learn from top collegiate talent. Register here:
