All summer long, the Boys & Girls Club has been coming to The Ice Box for broom ball — and it’s been one of our favorite parts of the season 🧹⛸️
No skates. No experience needed. Just sneakers, a ball, and a whole lot of running around on ice. Kids who’d never been on a rink before were sliding, laughing, wiping out, and getting right back up.
And the counselors? Just as competitive as the kids 😂 Some of them might’ve been having MORE fun. We saw it. We have footage.
This is exactly what we want the rink to be — a place where any group can walk in and have a great day, no skating skills required.
If you run a youth program, camp, or after-school group in Michiana, we’d love to have you. Broom ball, public skate, field trips, whatever fits your crew. Message us and let’s set something up ❄️

Never played hockey? No problem — Adult Hockey Boot Camp is for you! 🏒⛸️
6 weeks, zero experience needed. We’ll cover it all: skating technique, posture, puck control, stick handling, and real game situation drills.

Whether your little one is taking their very first glide or you’re an adult finally checking “learn to skate” off the list — we’ve got a class for you. Tot & Me, Snow Plow Sam, Basic, Freeskate, Adult, and even Hockey skills. 🏒
