East Side is holding the Franco family close following the passing of Gabe Franco on Thursday, July 23, 2026.

Gabe was a true fixture at the park, pouring his heart into coaching his sons, Greyson and Daxson. This summer, he proudly served as an assistant coach for Greyson's 11U Red All-Star team, making a lasting impact on every player and family who had the privilege of sharing the dugout with him.

As our 11U Red All-Stars head to the World Series, they'll be wearing gear honoring Coach Gabe's legacy, and carrying him with them onto the field.

To the Franco family: our entire East Side community loves you, stands with you, and is here for you. Coach Gabe's kindness, dedication, and love for his kids and our program will never be forgotten. 💙⚾
