Hello!
We would like to invite you to the Information Session on Tree Planting at the Charles Black Center on July 9th from 6:00pm-8:00pm with a presentation at 6:30pm. The goal of this event is to provide information about the benefits of having more trees, gather information on priority planting areas, and give neighbors the opportunity to sign up a free street tree that the city will plant and maintain for 2 years. The program is open to everyone in the city, but the Office of Sustainability has set aside a good portion of the trees available to be planted this year for the LaSalle Park Neighborhood. This is one of our first steps towards implementing the neighborhood plan! Once neighbors have signed up for the program, the trees will be planted this fall.
Here is the link to apply for your street tree! LaSalle Park: Choose Your Tree! Provided by the City of South Bend
