Byers Softball Complex A rich history of hosting numerous quality leagues and events. The Byers Softball Complex is located on South Bend's southwest side of the city.

Since its inception in 1997, Byers has hosted numerous softball events both fast pitch and slow pitch. Most notably, have been the three visits by the U.S. Women's Olympic softball team and multiple national championships for the Amateur Softball Association. The complex has also been awarded the James Farrell Award of Excellence 15 times. The complex has five diamonds, a full concession stand, restrooms, bleachers, and an operations building.

THE HISTORICAL SIGNAGE IS UP!

What started as a vision last spring over pizza and a few sodas has officially become a reality. From those initial conversations and brainstorming sessions to seeing it all come together at the Byers Softball Complex, this project has been a journey.

The finished historical signage is now installed at the front gates of Byers Softball Complex, where it will help tell the story of the history, accomplishments, and people who have made this place so special.

When you get a chance, stop by, take a look, and experience a piece of Byers history.
