Hey softball friends! It's been a minute since we posted on here but we are excited to announce that the Street Kids Softball team is BACK! Well just for one night! lol. Our team is being honored at the South Bend Cubs game tomorrow night starting at 7 PM, if anyone wants to come hang out! And TJ is throwing out the first pitch (if he can get it to the plate!)

The legendary Street Kids Softball organizes was founded in 1978 in Notre Dame, Indiana.
Backed by a visionary owner and a passion for life off the field through their outreach program, this team of selfless athletes has changed the sport forever. Backed by the popularity of two-time World Series champion Street Kids Softball team, the outreach arm of the organization Street Kids Care focuses on changing lives off the field. Inducted into the Indiana Softball Hall of Fame in 2011, Street Kids Care is founded and managed by TJ Jorgensen.

Good work being put in by the local softball community. This is why Street Kids Care was originally founded over 15 years ago: to inspire others to make a difference. And the work that Mike has done with the Toys for Tots event is awesome.
A Toys for Tots fundraiser with a twist! Hundreds gathered to raise thousands of dollars for the Toys For Tots program and participants say, it's all for the kids.

On this date 10 years ago: SKS defeats Reds to reach our 12th straight championship game.
On this date: eight years ago today, the SKS team won our third straight ASA Class B State Title. Great times.
