We rounded out our Canada weekend with a great day at the Montreal Highland Games!

✔️Sarah (not pictured) had a strong day with great improvements across her dances in Premier.
✔️ Isla competed in Intermediate for the first time, which meant competing in the Hornpipe for the first time! She did a great job and had a strong day.
✔️ Calla did a lovely job with all of her dances in Beginner and had a good showing.
✔️ Charlotte had nice improvements in Premier and a strong day.
✔️ Josie had an excellent showing in her last Primary competition.

Thank you to the organizers for bringing this event back this year! We had a great time. And, it was lovely to share the weekend with dance friends Katie & Elizabeth from Nashoba Valley - Major Highland Dancers - Stow, MA!

🌙 Zoe for a strong first Novice competition and a great showing over two long days in a large group.
⭐️ Isla for her positivity and willingness to cheer everyone on, even at a games at which she wasn’t dancing.
🪭 Josie for great dancing in Primary in a huge Primary 6 group, and for improvements in all her dances.
👯‍♀️ Dance school friends Katie & Elizabeth from Nashoba Valley - Major Highland Dancers - Stow, MA for traveling and helping out at every turn!
♥️ Teacher Katherine for closing out July and starting August with her 4th and 5th competition days within a 10 day period. Whew!

Dallas Day 3: United States Inter-Regional Championship (USIR). The USIR is open only to those dancers who placed in the top three at their respective regional championship events.

Congratulations to our Vermont dancers on excellent dancing! While we’re not coming home with medals from this event, it was an honor to represent the East Region and a great first USIR experience for both of us 🎉

USIR 2026 | Dallas, TX

Dallas Day 2 is in the books! Today was the ScotDance USA Premiership. As are Championships, Premierships are judged by 3 judges and points are aggregated to determine overall results. In 18 & Under 21, Charlotte earned judges points in the Blue Bonnets in a large, talented group. In 26 & Over, Teacher Katie (student of Peitzsch-Gibbs Highland Dancers) placed 6th in the Hornpipe in a similarly large, talented group. Congratulations dancers!!

ScotDance USA Premiership | Dallas, TX

Kicked off the ScotDance USA National Championships weekend with choreography day. We danced on a Broadsword team with Peitzsch-Gibbs Highland Dancers and Nashoba Valley - Major Highland Dancers - Stow, MA, and enjoyed the Denim & Diamonds Banquet.
