The diaper drive ends today and even though we hit our goal yesterday, thanks to an amazingly generous donation, we never stop there. After much discussion with Seventh Generation they found 125,000 diapers in their Boston warehouse they would donate. So we just needed to figure out how to get them, our amazing friends at Booska Movers came through again this year and are transporting them to us. We can't even begin to believe that brings our total OVER 211,000 DIAPERS!!!!!!! What a year friends, thank you all for being part of this very important event. ❤️

On Tuesday we were asked by our friend Evan Stainman how many diapers we had received, which at the time was around 60,000. With only a few days left of the drive, we weren’t sure if we would make our 80,000 diaper goal. Evan, and his amazing therapy dog Hank, said that the goal must be met, and they are donating over 20,000 diapers!!!!!!
Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude and joy. Gratitude and joy for Evan and Hank, as well as gratitude and joy for all of you. No matter the donation, 1 diaper or 20,000 diapers, YOU are the reason this drive continues to be a success. YOU are helping to ensure that families don't have to choose between diapers and food. YOU are helping your fellow Vermonters. Thank you for continuing to support this effort to help our fellow community members. You are helping your neighbors, your children's friends, and strangers' children. The demographic served by this drive are the most innocent and precious, and what we’ve all done will allow Committee on Temporary Shelter and their community partners to supply diapers to all who need them for 2020! We love and appreciate all of you, and are so pleased to announce with all of your help, we have surpassed our goal of 80,000 diapers!!!!!
Stay tuned for a HUGE announcement this morning!!!!
