REMINDER: There are no more Saturday sessions as the clinic itself ended on May 31st. Tuesday and Thursday only through July 31st.

As we progress into week one of the 2026 Winning Edge Clinics, which starts next Monday (6/15), we want to take an opportunity to address a few items regarding this summer’s activities.
While the clinics are scheduled to start at 4PM Monday through Thursday, please bear in mind that these are starting times and, to the extent possible, please try to arrive around 3:45PM so that we can maximize our on the field time as we have reserved Jaycee Park during the 4PM to 6PM time slot and there will no doubt be softball leagues starting their games at or shortly after 6PM.
The layout of the day-to-day activities is quite structured and, aside from scheduled water breaks, the sessions will be in a constant state of motion as we move from one block to the next.
In regards to parking, please feel free to either park in the Jaycee Park parking lot off of Patchen Road or, in the large parking lot behind Zachary’s Pizza on Williston Road which is next to our headquarters, please do not drive into the driveway as there will be plenty of athletes and coaches moving through and around the property at the time we are scheduled to begin and end our sessions.
For those who would like to hang around and watch, we encourage you to do so, however, please sit along the contours of the fence as the different position groupings will be using different areas of the fields and we expect to take up the overwhelming majority of the park.
Additionally, as we progress through the coming weeks, we are expecting to have guest instructors and speakers to be visiting and look forward to providing athletes with a comprehensive view and understanding of the game from their perspective so that the athletes can better appreciate the journey they are on and the degree to which their own commitment and work ethic will ultimately dictate where their individual journey takes them during the course of their athletic careers.
Lastly, please note that we will not cancel any sessions due to weather related issues, in the case of thunderstorms, we will move inside and follow well established protocols for dealing with such situations for determining return to play. For this particular week, we are expecting reasonable temperatures from Monday to Thursday with potential intermittent rain which should prove a good start to this summer's sessions. As a means to address potential hot weather issues, we strongly encourage and will teach the athletes time tested procedures to encourage adequate hydration as these principles apply to any sport related activities that they will experience now and well into the future, on a football field or other athletic playing surface. Further, the water fountains will be running and we are looking at having a sprinkler set up to allow for cooling down during breaks for the athletes on hot days, however, consuming lots of water starting the night before is the most sure fire way to ensure they are adequately prepared for the conditions they will face and it is something we constantly preach to them both now and through the football season.

REMINDER: Tomorrow, Tuesday June 2nd marks the beginning of individual lift sessions (clinic itself ended Saturday) for athletes coming off of their spring sports and looking to put some work in at their own pace. Sessions are Tuesday/Thursday from 5PM to 7PM, with barbell stations only between 5PM and 6PM and bench/deadlift/squat stations open from 6PM to 7PM.
There are NO Saturday hours.

THAT'S A WRAP! Just a heads up that with the completion of today's scheduled Winning Edge Resistance and Weight Training session today marks the last day as we move into the next phase of our athletic development platform.

FINAL NOTE: While the Winning Edge Resistance and Weight Training Training Clinic is concluded, please note athletes who wish to prepare for their upcoming fall seasons through resistance training can still do so on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5PM to 7PM with the understanding that the barbell stations are available between 5PM and 6PM and the bench/deadlift/squat stations are available between 6PM and 7PM as coaches are available to spot for athletes (no Saturday times).

Tonight's the night! The 2026 South Burlington Dolphins Meet the Coaches Night has finally arrived and will be from 4PM to 6PM at our headquarters located at 1234 Williston Road, South Burlington adjacent to Jaycee Park.
Whether your athlete is looking to register for summer clinics, register for the upcoming football season, secure their locker space or are looking to learn more about our programs you can do so in person tonight!
Please note that, because of this event being scheduled for tonight, the weekly Thursday session for the Winning Edge Resistance and Weight Training Clinic will not be meeting today, the next session will be its normal Saturday time slot of 11AM to 1PM.
