We came, we saw, we conquered 💪💪 We had a blast at IDA National Finals this week with some great riding and amazing horses!!

Katie Rozear rode to second place in the Upper level individual class with Bruno🥈
Esther Ray earned eighth place in Intro level individual on Dozer 🎉 (there was a small scoring error which is why the ribbon is not featured)
Ella Fowler was second in Intro DSE on Taylheir 🥈

Huge thank you to everyone who came to support us and to our wonderful coach Carolyn for her enthusiasm, dedication, and skill; we could not do this without you!
Congratulations to all the amazing Region A teams who competed both with individual riders and in team classes 🎉 it was a very successful week!
Lastly, shoutout to the absolutely incredible horses who make this competition possible. They are the pillar of the IDA program and we are endlessly grateful for their patience and partnership 💖

This year, we are both proud and sad to say that we have 7 graduating seniors: Nicole Murray, Esther Ray, Sarah McDowell, Eileen Walsh, Paige Mull, Sophie Guillemette, and Lillian Ballantine 💚
If you scroll through this post, you’ll be able to get to know some of them and hear their favorite team memories. We will miss all of them dearly when they graduate in May, but we know they’ll move on to do amazing things—horsey and otherwise!

The schooling show was a spectacular success! Massive thank you to all of our team members, co-op members, and equus members for their hard work. The horses were fantastic even in the windy conditions and we made some great memories 💛

We are so appreciative of our wonderful vendors and for their time at our show, and we are also thankful to have had such a lovely judge, Shelby Lawrence, for yet another of our home shows. Everyone who showed up for the UVM Horse Barn, including friends and family who came to support, are who make our community so special.

We are SO proud to say that our team placed 3rd overall in the region for the 2026 IDA season! We had so much fun this year and the beautiful regionals that hosted where we placed 3rd as well. A special shout out to all of our seniors and our wonderful coach , this year was made so special by all of you! More exciting news: We have 3 members, , , and that qualified for nationals individually! More information is coming out on this soon, so stay tuned!

We are so proud of our riders after this past Saturday, where the team took home 3rd at JWU! Special congratulations to Liza Radstake, who won reserve high point rider with her first level test🏅.

The UVM Dressage Schooling Show is fast approaching! Reminder that entries are due April 5th (more information and links on homeshow highlight). In addition to the competition, we will have an assortment of activities at the show from crafting to shopping.
Everyone in our amazing community is welcome to join in the weekend fun!

Coming up this Saturday from 10am to 12pm is our brand new March Madness event! There will be horse photo ops, fun activities for the kids, and good vibes to get us to spring 🌺
