It’s been a bit since the last post. Over the last few seasons, the love for social media waned quite a bit here at CCS….the head-down, focus on the fish mentality has really paid off dividends in terms of success rate on water. Going ghost mode has improved our ability to find areas away from the ever growing fleets that occur more frequently as our bluefin stocks continue to improve. It also made for a much more pure and fun experience for both captain and crews just going out and fishing for the sheer experience. The fishing was absolutely lights out in 2023, and we are already chomping at the bit for 24.

I might actually enjoy this inshore stuff with the little ones. Another fun day inshore with a great family. 3 generations of the Paradis family had a spectacular day off Cape Cod, so much so that Mason was sound asleep by the time we headed in. Thanks for a great day. Tuna the rest of the week, hopefully the first graces the deck of the SeaVee before the weekend is finished!

Here’s a great sequence of the Solix catching an absolute herd of fun sized tuna coming up a rise east of Cape Cod. The traditional 2D chirp combined with the Mega imaging DI really lets you know what you’re doing right!! The smaller fish made a great showing early June, as soon as this weather clears it’s game on!
