Itinerary and Event Details
7:00 AM – Field opens (Sunday, September 20th)
8:30 AM – Captain's meeting (on the field)
9:00 AM – Games start promptly
Check-In & Staging Area: All teams must check in prior to entering the staging area (checking in together as a team is highly appreciated). To keep the staging area from becoming overcrowded, only players and staff listed on an official roster are permitted inside. Anyone not on a roster will not be allowed in the staging area.
Team Tables & Canopies: Each team has been assigned a specific table for the event. Please do not move any tables. You are welcome to bring a canopy, but it must be properly secured or weighted down.
Parking Lot Policy: There is absolutely no staging from vehicles in the parking lot.
Spectators: Spectating is open to everyone on the "Dorito" side of the field (see the event map at the bottom of this email). As a reminder, spectators are not permitted inside the team staging area.
Schedules will be LIVE soon and will be found on the PBLi website.
The New Format: Following the Annandale Summer Cup, we are continuing the NXL scheduling format. Teams will play 8 separate games in the Prelims against 8 different opponents. (Note: D4 teams will play a round-robin format of 7 games in Prelims.)
Why the change? You asked, we listened! This format change was highly requested and highly reviewed by players to provide a better overall tournament experience, moving away from our past "best 2-out-of-3" matches.
Game time: Games are 3 minutes long (and often finish much faster). We will very likely run ahead of schedule. Do not assume the end-time listed on the schedule is when we will actually finish. Be ready to play!
Rosters & Staging Access
Deadline: Rosters must be fully completed on the PBLi site by Thursday evening at 9:59 PM. This includes all players and staff.
Late Fee: Any roster additions after the deadline will incur a $20 fee. We must lock rosters to print check-in materials; late changes require extra staff time and resources.
Staging Area Restrictions: To keep the pits clear and organized—a request heavily emphasized in player feedback—only rostered players and staff will be allowed in the staging area. Everyone will be wrist banded, and roster checks will be conducted throughout the day.
Waivers
Every player and staff member must have a completed 2026 Annandale Paintball waiver on file. If you already filled one out earlier this season, you are good to go. If not, you must complete a digital waiver online before you can check in on Sunday.
On-Deck, "In the Hole," & Live Tracking
We’ve made it incredibly easy to track your matches in real time so you never miss a point.
-Upcoming matches will be announced over our staging area PA speaker system.
-Staging Area TVs: Screens are located in each pit, in the staging area and at the sales counter. These will display the previous match, the live game on the field, and the next several teams in queue.
PBLi App/browser: You can also track your team's schedule and scores in real time via the PBLi website or mobile app.
Playoffs (D5 3-Man Division)
The top 8 teams from the D5 Prelims will advance to the Quarterfinals. Advancement is based strictly on overall standings (no bracket format).
Photographs-
Jason Meyer (IG) Rendering_error will be taking photographs on the field, general coverage off the field, and podium finishes. No other photographer or media coverage will be allowed on the playing field.
*Team and individual photographs are not guaranteed, however every effort is made to capture all participants
Paint Tabs
To keep your day moving smoothly, teams can open a paint tab under the following guidelines:
Opening a Tab: A credit or debit card must be left at the sales counter to start a tab.
Closing Out: All tabs must be paid in full immediately following the completion of the event. If you do not have a card on file, you must pay for your paint at the counter each time.
Please plan ahead! Do not wait until the last second before your match to rush to the counter for paint.
Retail & Gear
Our pro shop is fully stocked with a wide variety of retail products! If you need to replace a lens, grab fresh gear, or restock, we’ve got you covered.
Top Brands: We carry CRBN, JT, Empire, Virtue, Ninja, HK Army, Exalt, VForce, Dye, Planet Eclipse, Bunker Kings, Gen X, and Tippmann.
Note: Retail merchandise cannot be added to a team paint tab. All gear and retail products must be paid for at the time of purchase.
Air Fill Stations
Fill stations are located inside each team pit and at the main sales counter. To protect your gear and stay safe, please adhere to the following:
In-Pit Stations: Strictly 4500 PSI fills only.
Sales Counter Station: Offers both 3000 PSI and 4500 PSI fills.
Spectating
We love having family, friends, and fans out to support the teams! Spectating is located on the "Dorito" side of the field. You can easily access this area by walking from the main parking lot or driving down to the end of the airball field.
Restricted Areas: To keep everyone safe and focused, there is absolutely no spectating permitted on the Paintball City or Battlefield courses. This rule applies to both players and non-players.
Prizes
First, Second, and Third-place teams in each division will receive:
A custom team trophy
3 individual placement medals
A cash prize payout
Note: We run a progressive prize pool, meaning the more teams that compete, the higher the cash payout!
Field Layout Release
To keep the competition fair and ensure a completely level playing field for everyone, the layout is strictly off-limits for physical play or walking prior to Sunday morning.

4:00 PM (Saturday, September 19th): Published to the GunzUp website.
Tip: GunzUp is an incredible tool that allows you to walk and analyze the field layout in a 3D digital perspective to start planning your lanes and breakout strategy!
