16u Illusions Softball Team in the house all weekend long. Great to see a team on board with practicing on the weekends. So much more can get done that you simply don’t have time for during the busy week. It may not be as socially engaging or exciting as a tournament and you may not want to post pics or videos on your social media but, this right here is WINNING. Winning doesn’t always result in a trophy or a ring. Winning is practicing just as hard as you go in a game, it’s having the discipline to stay focused and attention to detail for an entire practice. It’s building relationships with teammates that otherwise takes longer in your typical weekly practice model of 2 hrs 2 days a week. It’s also nutrition, exercise and proper sleep. Parents, set other goals for your players, not just the W at the end of a tourney. Winning ALL WEEK LONG, that’s the goal. #noweekendwarriors #repsoverrings
