Be a part of a fast, up and coming, family owned business! At Cheata Bikes we manufacture high end motor-bicycles and ship our product nationally and internationally. We are looking for an eager and knowledgeable bike mechanic to join our team. Applicants must have a passion for cycling and a willingness to learn. Prior experience is REQUIRED. Small engine repair knowledge is desirable.

Qualifications
• Applicants must have a passion for quality, detail orientated, and a willingness to learn
• Prior bicycle building experience is REQUIRED
• Proven experience as a mechanic
• Excellent knowledge of a bicycle parts
• Aptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, torque wrenches, frame taps etc.) and precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers)
• Very good communication skills
• A problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently

Responsibilities Include
• Assemble and prepare bikes for sale.
• Perform a variety of service functions on new and used bikes.
• Evaluate the mechanical condition for bicycle repair for the customer.
• Assess inventory and communicate stock needs as required.
• Provide excellent customer service through direct and detailed interactions with customers.
• Maintain a safe and clean workshop.
