Congratulations to Annie & Grace (3rd) and Libby & Liberty (4th) on an impressive Section 3AA Doubles Tournament. Today they battled it out in a very competitive, high level 3rd place match at the Baseline Tennis Center U Of MN. Annie/Grace over Libby/Liberty 6-4, 7-6. Their coaches are so proud of them! Shout out to the SSP Tennis alumni, friends, family and teammates who came to cheer them on during the tournament!

Congrats to doubles teams Annie & Grace and Libby & Liberty who both won their first match today in the quarterfinals of the 3AA Doubles Tournament. They both lost their semifinal match and will have to face off against each other Monday at noon at the U of MN Baseline Center.

Qtrs: #2 seed Annie/Grace over Richfield 6-0, 6-0;
#5 seed Libby/Liberty over #4 Cretin-Derham Hall 6-2, 6-0

Semis: #3 seed Holy Angels over #2 Annie/Grace 6-3, 6-0
#1 seed Hill Murray over #5 Libby/Liberty 6-0, 6-3

The Packers competed in the 3AA Individual Singles and Doubles Tennis Tournaments today at the University of Minnesota's Baseline Tennis Center. Mira won her first round of singles over Washington Tech before losing to an impressive #1 seed from Holy Angels. Addi played well but drew a tough draw the first round and lost to the #6 seed from Highland Park. #5 doubles seed Libby and Liberty won their first round over St. Paul Johnson and #2 doubles seed Annie and Grace won their first round over Highland Park. Annie/Grace and Libby/Liberty move on to the quarterfinals which take place tomorrow starting mid-morning at Baseline. Good luck Packers!

Happy National Coaches Day to these crazy coaches! Thank you for all you do for SSP Tennis and to develop strong women with great work ethic, discipline and perseverance. And also for showing them how to laugh at ourselves once in a while.

The team competed tough tonight but sadly the Hill Murray Pioneers put an end to the season for the SSP Packer Girls Tennis Team. The girls fought hard and the matches were close but ended with a 2-5 loss in the semifinals of 3AA. Great season girls. We are so proud of you - both your tennis and your sportsmanship - all season long.

The Packer Girls Tennis Team earned a place in the Section 3AA Semifinals and will head to Hill Murray Thursday, Oct 2 to take on the Pioneers at 3:30 pm. Let's go Packers!
