Based in Midvale, UT, Thunder Paws Flyball team is all about dogs having fun and forming closer bonds A fun acitivity for dogs of all ages and breeds.
Flyball is a dog sport in which teams of dogs race against each other from a start/finish line, over a line of hurdles, to a box that releases a tennis ball to be caught when the dog presses the spring-loaded pad, then back to their handlers while carrying the ball.

Stampede’s Flying Circus Tournament was named fittingly for our weekend. 🎪 🤡 For the first time, Thunder Paws had four competing teams! Our cute little furry pals struck a pose in the ring before hitting the lanes. Thank you Stampede for hosting a great tournament. This photo-op was too cute.

Keep an eye out! Thunder Paws has some new member announcements coming soon. Today we had a great practice and took advantage of the warm weather. What a fun day with some great people and very happy dogs.

Help everyone - please spread the word. This dog came into work with a broken leg. We are trying to find a foster (original owner has no money) we also need to figure out funds to pay for the surgery. If anyone has any suggestions or able to foster. “Honey is a 5 month old lab mix puppy who needs a fracture repair or amputation. Needs a foster and funding for repair. “

We are starting another class soon. Time is still to be determined. Typically will be 2pm but will depend on how hot it still is outside. Space is limited so will be based by those that pay. It is with deepest sorrow that we announce that Jenny and Gerry's sweet boy Nigel has crossed the rainbow bridge. 🌈 The entire Thunder Paws team sends our deepest sympathy to Jenny and Gerry. Nigel was so loved and lived an amazing life. You will be missed.

This dog is looking for a home ! - His current owner is planning to euthanize due to him being a typical heeler. Frustrating ! Time of death is next week.😞 Here is his back story :
He’s 5 years old, and was originally adopted from Rescue Rovers, and had a femoral head ostectomy (FHO) procedure when he was a puppy, which he is now fully recovered from (doesn’t affect his running at all)
He’s super gentle around me, my wife, and my 2-year old toddler, and the only real issue is that he’s standoff-ish around new men he’s not familiar with.
It’s usually not an issue out at the park or in public, and only when a new man enters our home
He’s great with other dogs and we frequently board him at Camp Bow Wow in Sandy.
He’s also fully up to date on all vaccines! Let me know what other details you need or if someone would like to meet him.
