Just Dance!!....Bolly Beatzz...

Growing up I always use to think why people dance so much whether their is a marriage, bridal or baby shower, graduation party, farewell party or just a normal get together with old friends why do we always end up dancing. It took me a long to realize, but when I had my first stage performance in Virginia with my dear friends I loved what I did their on stage. I choreographed the routine and felt that I was presenting myself to the audience about who I am. It was a dance that expressed my happiness, excitement and a sense of achievement. At that point of time I was actually dancing for myself and not for the audience and ever since I kept dancing for myself on whatever opportunity I get whether its a cultural event, a cause for charity, audition or a wedding. I feel in the end it just boils down to your true passion and really doesn’t matter if you win or lose.

I also believe that dance is like an ocean no matter how far you go there is still more to cover. Every step is a learning curve and thats what this page is, a learning portal that tells us anything and everything about dance. I don’t say I am a pro in dance and know everything about it. While the knowledge I intend to impart is on Bollywood dance, this page is not restricted to it rather it aims to shine a light on the various dance forms that are practiced in India and thoughout the world.
