BIG congratulations to .baranick6 on his commitment to !! This is an absolute steal! Tyler brings a lot of skill and intangibles to the next level. He’s got size, high level catching skills and consistently hits the ball hard all over the field. HUGE congratulations to Drew Hess on his commitment to Johns Hopkins Baseball ! Drew has steadily gotten better over the last 4 years but he has improved DRAMATICALLY this last year. He is consistently driving the ball, playing high level 3rd base and has turned himself into a legitimate 2-way player. We could not be happier with his development and look forward to his continued success on the field and in the classroom!

Here’s the truth: he’s not getting enough at-bats for games to build anything. Ten at-bats a weekend doesn’t create consistency — the tee, flips, and BP during the week do. Games are where you test the work, not where you do it.
