It’s official!!

We will be heading down to Florida January 18th to compete in the Tangerine Bowl against the Michigan Bills!!!

We are back time to right some wrongs!!!!

Harvest bowl here we come!!!!!

This is it win or go home for a chance to play in the Coast division championship!!!!

With the win today over the RI Raptors 26-12 the Southington Gems secured first place on the coast division and now sit alone at the top of the rankings as the only undefeated team!!!!!

#1 defense and #1 offense in the division

The playoffs are coming thru New Britain starting next Saturday!!!

The gems went to war yesterday with the silverbacks and came out victorious moving to 6-0 on the season with a hard fought 20-14 win after being down 7-6 at half time for the first time this season the team battled back big showings from QB1 Ben Ambro and running back Ant Dom with wonderful blocking from our oline
Ant plantamuro with a great run after the kick return setting Ben ambro up for the score in forth to put the gems up 20-14. Then With 1 minute left the defense goes out and gets the stop to ice the win

We talk and preach adversity and this team stepped up to the challenge yesterday the road to the chip will not be easy but as head coach Sal Conti says “no pressure no Gem”
We may bend but we don’t break.

This win sets us up for our final game of the regular season against the Raptors and then we head into the playoffs with home field advantage!!!!!!
