As players move through the program, the goal is to prepare them physically, competitively, and mentally for the next level, while also helping create connections and exposure through USA Football and the collegiate pathway.

🏈 Club Spotlight: TFL Lady Colts

What started with one team and a simple goal, give girls more opportunities to play the game they love, has grown into 10 teams and nearly 100 athletes in North Houston!

For the TFL Lady Colts, development has always been at the center of everything they do. From athletes picking up a football for the first time to players competing on national stages, their philosophy is simple:

Built, not borrowed.

They believe in developing their own athletes, creating opportunities at every level, and building a culture where decisions are made for the TEAM, not just one player.

Behind it all is Kelly Jatzlau, handling the business side, alongside her son and coach Tayton, their coaching staff, players, and families who have helped turn a single team into an entire flag football family.

For Coach Lowe, film is a big part of the recruiting process, whether it comes from game footage, training sessions or even videos captured on your phone.

One of his biggest pieces of advice? Clearly identify yourself in your film. Circle yourself, make your clips easy to follow and give coaches a chance to evaluate your movement and ability.

And if your high school doesn’t have quality game film or the resources to capture it be sure to always create your own opportunities. Film workouts, training sessions and drills, post them to social media and get your name in front of the coaching staff!

Coming in hot out of Charlotte, NC, the Impact Vipers are Led by Ronald Smith & The Impact Foundation! The Vipers give young women opportunities to compete at a high level while preparing them for what comes next. From travel tournaments and college showcases to leadership development and mentorship, the program is focused on the WHOLE athlete.

High school athletes are also given the opportunity to mentor the program’s younger players, helping build confidence, leadership and a stronger flag football community from the ground up.

iFlag (formerly USA Flag) and 5v5 Sports are joining forces to launch iFlag Youth — a new competition platform built exclusively for youth flag football.

The goal: connect premier youth tournaments to elite championship stages, with a clear competitive pathway for teams at every level — from emerging programs to elite clubs chasing college, pro, and national-team opportunities.
