New Teacher Spotlight!

Please help us welcome our new FACS teacher, Mr. Odom!

My name is Jace Odom, and I am excited to join the Spanish Fort community as a Family and Consumer Sciences teacher. I graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Business Science, and I am looking forward to bringing my passion for learning, leadership, and helping students succeed into the classroom. I am excited to jump into the school year and become a part of the Toro family.

I will also be coaching wrestling at Spanish Fort. I previously coached here last season and am excited for the opportunity to continue working with our student-athletes and helping them grow both on and off the mat.

And so.. we bid farewell to our Class of 2026 seniors. ❤️🤘🏽🖤

No matter when their wrestling journey started or what their path looked like, each of these athletes has been part of the story of Spanish Fort Wrestling. They’ve worn the red and black, represented our program, and helped shape the culture of Toro Wrestling along the way.

We’re proud of this group and excited to see where life takes them next. Thank you for the memories, the laughs, the battles, and the time you gave to this program.

🏆 Another piece of history added to the trophy case at Spanish Fort High School! 🤘🏽

Our 2026 AHSAA Class 6A State Championship trophies have officially arrived, and we couldn’t think of a better way to showcase them than with our 132 lb State Champion, Braden Gress! 💪🔥

These trophies represent countless hours of hard work, sacrifice, discipline, and belief in “The Standard.” Proud is an understatement.

Congratulations again, Braden, on an incredible season and bringing home a state title for the Toros! ❤️🖤🤼

🌹 Happy Mother’s Day to the Wrestling Moms of Spanish Fort Wrestling 🌹

✨ The unsung heroes of this sport 🥰

They don’t step onto the mat. They don’t stand on the podium. They don’t get medals hung around their necks or hear the crowd cheer their name. Yet somehow, they carry just as much of the weight. 💪🏽

Wrestling moms are the backbone of this sport. They’re the early mornings, the long drives, the packed bags, the tournament weekends, the emotional support after heartbreaking losses, and the steady voice reminding these athletes to keep going when things get hard. 🫶🏽

This sport demands grit from everyone involved, and our wrestling moms give so much of themselves behind the scenes without ever asking for recognition. 🥹

Today, we recognize you. We appreciate you, and we thank you for everything you pour into our athletes and this program. 🙏🏽

Spanish Fort Wrestling would not be what it is without you. 🌹🤼‍♂️
