📣 ATF Announces e-Form Blackout Starting Dec. 26! 🗓️

Heads up to everyone filing NFA paperwork — the ATF just confirmed a temporary shutdown of the online e-Form system starting midnight December 26, 2025 through January 1, 2026

❗Here’s what you need to know:
👉 The ATF will pause e-Form submissions and certifications at midnight Dec. 26
👉 This blackout is to update the system ahead of the $0 tax stamp changes taking effect in 2026.

⚠️ Important deadlines:
👉 Any drafts not submitted by Dec. 26 will be deleted.
👉 Only e-Forms submitted and certified before the cutoff will continue processing.

📈 Why it matters:
👉 Current NFA approval times are very fast right now (just a few business days), but this blackout could cause delays and a surge once the portal reopens.
👉 Come January 1, 2026, all eligible Form 4 submissions should benefit from the new $0 tax stamp process

🕒 Bottom line:
If you’re planning to submit NFA paperwork before year’s end, now is the time — especially if you want to beat the blackout and current turnaround times.
