Way to finish the summer going 4-0 in Lexington to win the USSSA Bring the Heat Championship! Battled hard all weekend. Rallied back from a 5-4 deficit in the Championship game to win 7-5 against a really good team from Florence.

Matthew Perry: Pitched 8 solid innings (3 Saturday, 5 Sunday) 2 wins. Allowing 0 runs, 0 hits, and 0 walks. 81% Strikes!

Caden Hatfield: 6 for 13 at the plate with 6 RBIs, 7 runs scored and 5 SBs

Gabe Ingram: 3 for 9 at the plate, 4 runs scored, run saving diving catch and game tying hit in the bottom of the 6th in the championship game. Pitched 2 great innings in relief on Saturday

Sundiata Anderson: Game winning 2-run double in the championship game. Clutch at the plate!

Another good week for Mojo Baseball. Mojo was on the way to the championship before the thunderstorm settled in.

Highlights were:

Daniel Butts: threw a complete game allowing only 1 run with 9Ks for the win, 8 RBIs

Lee Poyner: win on the mound on Saturday, allowing only 2 hits, 4Ks

Sundiata Anderson: 5 for 7 at the plate with 6 runs scored

Caden Hatfield: 5 for 8 at the plate, 5RBIs
