🏐 Week 2 of Ladies InMotion + Open Gym = SUCCESS! 🔥

This week we focused on one of the most important skills in volleyball: Serve Receive & Defense.

Our key teaching points:

✅ Feet to the ball
✅ Platform out early and angled
✅ Freeze to target

After breaking down the fundamentals and working through a few drills, we did what everyone came for…

🏐 WE PLAYED. A LOT. 🏐

One of the best parts of the evening was seeing athletes immediately put what they learned into action during game play. There’s something special about learning a skill and then getting to use it right away.

We loved seeing new faces join us this week and are excited about the momentum that continues to build each Tuesday night. It was also great to be back home at the Global Academy Center!

Most importantly, we were able to spend time praying over these athletes, thanking God for their gifts, abilities, and the opportunity to enjoy this game together. ❤️

A huge thank you to Coach Christa, Coach Brayden, Coach David, and special guest Coach Ximena for investing in, encouraging, and loving on everyone who attended.

Our first Ladies InMotion/Open Gym was such a fun night! 🏐✨

It was awesome seeing some new faces come out, while also watching some of our regulars continue building their game and confidence.

For the first 30 minutes, we focused on serving and worked through THREE different types of serves designed to help players become more consistent, more aggressive, and more versatile on the court. Then we opened the gym up for ladies-only play on the women’s net and just had FUN competing together. 🙌

One of the coolest parts of the night was seeing women of different ages and skill levels learning, laughing, encouraging each other, and simply enjoying the game together. That’s exactly what InMotion is all about. 💙

And then a group prayer at the end ... made for a great first session.

We’ll continue these Ladies InMotion/Open Gyms throughout June and July, so help us spread the word and make plans to join us at the next one!

🏐 Coastal Carolina Championship Weekend 🏐

What an incredible way to close out the season in Myrtle Beach with two Legacy teams competing at the Coastal Carolina Championship!

First, a HUGE thank you to Grand Strand for putting on an outstanding tournament and creating such a phenomenal experience for all the athletes, coaches, and families involved. 👏

This weekend honestly reflected our entire season…

There were challenges.
There was sickness.
There were injuries.
There were moments where we had to borrow players just to fill a roster.

And while the final results may not have been exactly what we hoped for on the scoreboard, something far greater happened along the way.

We grew closer.
We united as teams and as a club.
We prayed with teams we had never met before.
We laughed together, battled together, worshipped together, and created memories that will last far longer than wins and losses ever could.

That was the real victory. ❤️

At Legacy Volleyball, we believe championships are amazing… but our ultimate purpose is bigger than trophies. It’s about making Heaven crowded, loving people well, and using volleyball as a platform to point others to Jesus.

So while we may not be bringing home championship banners this weekend, we ARE celebrating a season full of ministry moments, growth, relationships, perseverance, and purpose.

To our players, coaches, and families — thank you.
You represented Legacy ON and OFF the court in such an incredible way. We could not be more proud of you all.

Now we turn the page with excitement toward camp season, summer training, and upcoming tryouts as we prepare for what God has next for Legacy Volleyball. We can’t wait to welcome back familiar faces and meet new athletes looking to play for something greater than themselves.

This season was a blessing.
And without a doubt…
