March Meet up Hike at Croft State Park! | The Local Hiker Did you know there's a State Park located within 15 minutes of downtown?! Croft State Park is as rich in history as it is in resources to enjoy the outdoors. Join as we make our way through the Foster's Mill Loop. It's 6 miles with about 800 to 1000 feet of elevation that makes an approachable hike!

Hey everyone. The shop needs YOU. We want to expand our offerings of hikes and are looking for volunteers to help guide our meet up hikes and pitch in for events when we have em! We've got some perks that would come into play if you're up for joining our team. Outdoor experience and outstanding attitude are a must. Please inquire to [email protected] ! Hike at Peter's Creek is cancelled to protect the trails and a good time. You can plan a pretty picnic but you can't predict the weather. -Coleman

Hey everyone! Hope you all stayed warm and felt confident with your readiness plans. Thanks for letting us help out. We will be back on for normal hours tomorrow and will be looking forward to seeing all you awesome people again.

Evening everyone. My heart goes out to everyone this weekend as we wish for safety and warmth. The Local Hiker will do it's very best to be a resource. If we have power you will know and are invited to get warm, charge a phone, get some water of available. Or just fellowship for support. We still have a few stoves and fuel canisters with plenty of warm clothes ,as well as freeze dried meals. Solar panels and charge stations as well. Thanks everyone for your support we will always try and pay it back.

Shop will be open a little late this morning. I HAVE TO paint these duckies with my daughter or the world ends.
