The Senior Golfers of South Carolina is dedicated to friendship and fellowship among senior golfers.
Each year we host tournaments at some of the finest golf courses in the State. The tournament sites are selected based on design and condition as well as convenience of the location for the majority of our members.
We currently have over 400 members enjoying golf around beautiful South Carolina.

Senior Golfers just completed our Annual Championship at the beautiful Love and Fazio courses at Barefoot Landing at Myrtle Beach. We had the most players in memory with 88 golfers and 130 members and guests for dinner and cocktail party.
The champions were
Low Overall Gross- Doug Bedard (trophy being presented by President James Glenn)
Low Overall Net- Hal Huggins (George Cobb Trophy presented by President James Glenn)
Low Net, Royal/ Super Senior- Jerry Price (Jeff Folley Cup presented by Past President Jeff Folley)

Our 2022 Annual Championship recognized 3 new champions. Doug Brown, recipient of Folley Cup, ,Low Net Super Seniors, Joe McMurry, recipient Cobb Trophy for Low Overall Net and Lyn Martin, Low Overall Gross

Senior Golfers returned to the Orangeburg Country Club for our annual tournament. The course was in magnificent shape and a good time was had by all. Especially Joe McMurry who had his second career hole in one on number 17.

Senior Golfers had a fantastic day at historic Rock Hill Country Club today. Thank you Director of Operation, Kyle Gregory, for the beautifully manicured golf course. We received a tremendous amount of compliments on the condition of the course.

Senior Golfers of SC enjoyed a great 2 days at Greenwood CC for our annual 36 Hole Better Ball of Two. The overall Low Net Team was Jim Lester (dark shirt) and Lynn Martin (light shirt). Pictures here with the champs is Greg Culbertson, President of SGSC.

Senior Golfers of SC had a very good time at one of our state’s oldest courses, Aiken Golf Club. The courses’ conditions were matched by the fantastic weather. If you haven’t played this gem, put it on your list.
Our next event is our annual 36 hole Better Ball of Two at another great course, Greenwood Country Club on Thursday and Friday May 26-27.

Senior Golfers of SC had a fabulous "Kick Off" to our 2022 season. Country Club of Spartanburg did a great job of hosting and the course was in excellent condition.
