Joy made a nice delivery to The Spartanburg Humane Society today. Angel loved all of the laundry detergent, cat food and treats for the dogs. Great job SSOC!

Conni and Joy made a delivery to St. Luke’s Thursday. The pantry was low but we had enough food to fill the pantry and put some back to replenish it when it gets low again. We also delivered the feminine hygiene products we collected a couple of months ago. It was perfect timing as they were on their last box of products to be given out. We also had some members that donated cash, $125 was greatly appreciated!
Once again, thank you SSOC members for supporting St. Luke’s.

We had about 15 people attend the June SSOC monthly meeting at Marcy’s. Good meeting with some members cooling off in the pool while others sat around the pool visiting with one another.

Thursday's SSOC May Membership Meeting was a pleasure to attend, with a wonderful potluck and great company.

Joy delivered a special load to the SHS today. Lots of cat food, dog food and treats for the dogs. Every dog deserves to have treats so we got them some. They make great training rewards too. Debby and Blaine donated 2 laundry baskets filled with blankets, towels, and sheets. SHS washes a lot of towels and bedding so those baskets will come in handy as well. Thank you to those of you who got items to Joy. They are appreciated more than you can imagine.

We had so much fun at the bowling alley on Thursday. We had 10 people divided into 2 teams and played 2 games. Lots of laughs and excitement during the games. What a great way to spend an afternoon with friends!

Taylor, Kathy and Joy made a quick run to St. Luke’s Free Medical Clinic this morning to add some food to their pantry. A big thank you to them from all of us at SSOC!

Darian and Jay, from SHS and Nancy, Jan, Dan, Joy, Rich and Alison from SSOC delivered a big load for the animals. Thank you to all our members who donated at our March meeting.
