It’s been an absolute pleasure partnering with Bread Riot this summer!

What an honor it was to bring cooking demonstrations to the Rowan Salisbury Farmers Market. I met so many new people and saw lots of familiar faces.

Monday I had the honor of facilitating a combined nutrition class and cooking demonstration at the Rufty Holmes Senior Center.

The topic was “Eat Good, Feel Good!” and covered the topic of inflammation and anti-inflammatory foods.

Let me tell you something!!! I so enjoyed pouring into these elders and was blessed to have them pour back into me with their words of wisdom.

I prepared a Summer Vegetable and Black Bean Medley. I didn’t get any pictures, but I did get this video clip of my setup. I know….i need to do better!!!
