EXCITING NEWS 🎉
Our Next Era Girls program has been invited back to Juneau, Alaska for the THIRD time! The Principal at MRCS Elementary loved what we brought to the classroom so much, he asked us to come twice a year.
The girls said it best:

Porchlight Studio is offering Mother/Daughter (grandmothers too) photo sessions in Spokane, WA. during June and July that celebrate the love, connection, and worth shared between women.

❤️ These are the moments that matter. ❤️
A few women gathered at a little cupcake shop called Sweet Frostings 🧁 to give a sweet 8-year-old girl a Next Era Girls WORTHY necklace.💙
She was surrounded by love. Her grandma was there, along with two other women who love and care for her…a few generations of women, 🥰 all showing up for one treasured little girl.
They toasted, shared words of inspiration, read the affirmation on the back of our WORTHY necklace card, and clasped the WORTHY necklace around her neck. 🥰 They wanted her to know how valuable she is, and how much they believe in her.
Because that's how it works. Worth gets passed from one generation to the next, one sweet girl at a time. 💙
Every girl's worth is inherent, never earned. And every girl deserves to hear it.

🩷For the past three years, our Next Era Girls program has been built through thousands of volunteer hours, community support, and a deep belief that girls deserve to know they are worthy, 🔥that there is a leader in them, and their dreams are in their hearts for a reason.
Thank you ❤️to everyone who has shown generosity toward us and believed in this work. As we grow, we are focused on first-class programs, meaningful partnerships, and steady funding so we can continue reaching more girls in meaningful and impactful ways.

👉It is Interesting that RESEARCH shows us that girls in 5th and 6th grade experience the largest confidence drops of any age group, and most anxiety disorders 😞 begin between ages 11 and 13. From Alaska to Washington State, this is a short window.
❤️Everything we teach in our Next Era Girls program (ages 9-12) is built on one foundation…WORTHY.
WORTHY meets her where trauma has told her she is not good enough. When a tween girl truly believes she is worthy, she becomes the leader of her own life showing herself kindness and respect with grace sprinkled in.
📍She sees something beautiful and doesn't feel less than.
📍She sees something aspirational and doesn't feel left behind.
📍She puts the phone down and still feels like herself.
📍She doesn't feel the need to bully someone else.
WORTHY becomes her North Star.✨
We are so excited to be going back to Juneau, Alaska this fall, where the principal told us: "Your impact is truly making a difference." 💙
