Balanced & non-restrictive personal training & nutrition coaching for women. My name is Kendyl and I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach!

My involvement in competitive gymnastics and all star cheerleading is where my love for movement started. When I went to college and stoped competing in sports, I noticed a huge change in my body. This is where I fell into a toxic trap of 'diet culture' where I was cutting out almost all carbs, obsessively tracking my 1200 calorie diet that basically consisted of dining hall chicken and steamed ve

My goal is to help all of my clients establish strong habits in these fundamental areas. Many people underestimate the power of mastering the basics, especially in a society that thrives off of wellness fads and trends. You’ll be surprised how much better you feel once you prioritize and improves these areas of your life🤍

Happy New Year 🥂
Today is a fresh start to a new chapter. Setting general and vague goals is a great start, but how are you actually going to reach those goals?

As we approach the end of the year, we tend to think about what we will accomplish next year. I encourage you to first REFLECT on the right and wrong of this year, then establish RESOLUTIONS on how you will improve what went wrong, and keep doing what you did right! Here are some self-improvement areas to focus on 🤍

Your mindset can make or break you. If you have specific goals you are trying to reach, it’s not going to be easy! The number one thing I work on with clients is their mindset and changing the habits that are not getting them closer to their goals. Let your mind and health grow and start to make a change 🤍

These lettuce wraps have made their way back into my meal rotation and they are SO good! I usually deconstruct mine into bowl form (as always) but either way you will love this meal!

1) Heat sesame oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add turkey and cook, breaking apart until crumbled and no longer pink.

2) Stir in the cooked rice, diced bell pepper, chopped water chestnuts, broth, hoisin sauce, five-spice powder. Cook until heated through.

3) To serve, separate lettuce leaves from head, spoon some of the turkey mixture into each leaf, top with chopped cilantro and grated carrot

Little life update:
I’ve been extremely MIA on here lately..but I got married 👰🏻‍♀️ then my new husband and I have been navigating thru a difficult loss. I’ve completely put my health and fitness on the back burner.

It is hard during the busy seasons of life to prioritize yourself. But damn, what a difference I have been feeling..between skipping meals, losing sleep, I don’t even remember the last time I touched a weight.. I know I haven’t been setting myself up for success (and I’m feeling it).

BUT, I’m here to say I’m back and know a healthy body and routine will allow space for a healthy mind and sprit. I’m ready to get back to some clients today, and have some exciting things coming for some of you who aren’t close enough to train with me in person 😘

I am just as much in this journey with you towards a balanced and healthy life! It doesn’t come easy, but accepting where you fall short and making a plan is the best next step you can take 🤍
