Esmeralda Golf Course

Yesterday Esmeralda hosted the Bank of America Youth on Course Play Golf With Us Junior Clinic. This is a nationally recognized event and was held at Esmeralda thanks to the tremendous efforts of Michelle Grafos and Rob Sanders. We all had a great time coaching the juniors from the local boys and girls club in the different stations that were set up. Thank you to the Bank of America crew and volunteers, and to the coaches from Michelle Grafos Golf Performance, the local Boys and Girls Club, and the staff at Esmeralda for an amazing day!

Former Zag, current Sacramento Kings forward Domantas Sabonis attends Bank of America youth golf clinic in Spokane Sabonis was on hand to give back to the community he once called home and to spend time with kids on the golf course.

We'd like to congratulate Evan Fassbender on his first hole in one! He scored this amazing accomplishment on Hole #8 here at Ezzy from the white tees playing over 200 yards to a blue pin using a 4 hybrid. He said this is only his 6th official round of golf! You know some of us have to wait years for a hole in one, and some of us don't ever get one. Evan, we hope you get many more. Again, congrats!

In case you haven't noticed, and I'm sure you have, there is a lot of road construction going on around town this summer. Close to Ezzy here, N. Greene St. across Spokane River is currently closed southbound. You have to find alternate routes to get to Mission or southbound to Freya. I've heard in the next couple weeks that will switch to the Northbound lanes being closed and you will have to find alternate routes to cross the river. So, if you're coming from South Hill or the freeway plan for an extra 15 minutes or so to get here for your tee time. Won't it be nice when it's all finished...

The course conditions at Esmeralda continue to be a hot topic. The course is in amazing shape and we'd like to give a shout out to our awesome maintenance crew who have done a spectacular job. The course is playing so well right now. If you haven't come out and played a round yet, you're missing out!

Esmeralda Golf Course would like to congratulate Jon Miller who on June 10th, 2026 achieved his 2nd hole in one. He scored his hole in one from 121 yards on the par 3 2nd hole. Jon has had 2 hole in ones in his career. Both on the same hole, 6 years apart.
